Pupil Premium

Stroud & Cotswold Alternative Provision School receives a pupil premium grant from central government who firmly believe Pupil Premium is the best way to address the current underlying inequalities between children in care (CiC), children eligible for free school meals (FSM), service children (SC) and their wealthier peers. The funding is provided to ensure disadvantaged children receive additional support, raise their aspirations and improve the educational outcomes.

Any school that receives Pupil Premium is free to spend the funding in a variety of ways. However, the school is accountable for this public money and must show how the funding was used to support disadvantaged children and low income families.
